In 2014, I blacked out while driving and drove my car into concrete columns on the side of the highway, waking up with no memory of what had happened.  It was a complete mystery to me as to what caused this event. But soon after I began having unexplained episodes - these episodes left me with "blank" spaces of time in my memory, and after a while, I began having more accidents around the home because of what occurred during these "blank" spaces. I burned my hands while cooking, I dropped and shattered jars without remembering doing so and more. I finally got a diagnosis - that I was having seizures. This left me unable to drive. 

While I've been fortunate enough to reduce the frequency of my seizures, the seizures that I am having have become worse, as they have increased to falling or "drop" seizure episodes doubled with unconsciousness. 

Unfortunately, I have been unable to work outside of the home because of my seizures, even though I have sought work outside of the home in the past few years. This means that I have lost government subsidization for health insurance, raising my costs for 2017 to near $400 per month.

That, plus the cost of doctor's visits and medication, have put a tremendous burden on me and those who I am very fortunate to have helping me. I am starting this GoFundMe as a way of seeking some help while I continue to seek treatment for my seizures in this coming year. 

My doctors and I are confident that we are close to a solution when it comes to these seizures! All I need is the money to take care of my insurance and other medical costs! Any help I can recieve, any at all, would be much appreciated!
