As most of you may know, Megan Rose Hiatt is currently in the hospital fighting for her life. As updates are given to me I will post them on this page granted that the family has not specifically asked something to not be shared. All the funds given will go towards the expense of medical bills and funeral cost. Every penny is greatly appreciated. Megan is an extremely strong person who will undoubtedly pull through this but not without the pain of not only a mental  but physical recovery.  Prayers are asked to be said towards her and the family during this difficult time. Please help share the gofundme page to ensure it goes viral.

The story of this tragic event can be found in a link below.

Megan all your friends and family love you so dearly.

Tomorrow Megan will have a bone graft surgery and prayers will be needed. She has two or more surgeries to go after this (bone graft) depending if the grafts take. Started the new year in a wheel chair, hopefully she will be walking by next year.
This gofundme will stay open until all surgeries are finished. We thank everyone who has continued to donate and share the page. We ask that this continues to happen in hopes of continuing to help with the financial burden.

Hi guys, I currently can't read or write so I'm dictating to a friend...
First off, I want everyone to know that I know my Savior Jesus Christ lives and that my Heavanly Father has been by my side throughout this process and I could not be doing this without that knowledge. I have made a major milestone. I can hold a cup or bottle in my left hand which was injured in the crossfire. I received a skin graph in surgery this morning for my left leg that seems to be doing well. Today marked 6 surgeries on that leg with a total of 8 surgeries. Many more to go but I know that your thoughts, prayers, and all other efforts on my behalf haven't gone unnoticed and are all greatly appreciated. They are the reason that I am alive. Emotionally, I'm taking it one day at time, but my thoughts are becoming more clear and when I am recovered and well, I look forward to becoming a major advocate for domestic violence issues toward Women and Men.
XOXO - Megan Rose
PS - Your donations have brought me to tears. Because of them, my daughters were able to be buried in beautiful white coffins next to my Father, our night in shining armor. I don't know how to thank you for that blessing and love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart dear friends.

Hello Megan's Friends this is her mom...

Megan is having her 7th surgery this morning (yet another one on her leg). She was in pain and anxious this morning. Please pray for the procedure to go well, for her pain to be managed, and for her to be comforted. These are all things she needs today.

We'll update you later today on the outcome and how she is doing.

My heart is broken for your tragic circumstances. No one should ever be forced to endure the pain you're feeling. Your suffering is incomprehensible, and I pray you find moments of peace; I know this will be a burden of grief you will carry through your life time. Godspeed.

Megan, I am so beyond devastated to hear what happened. Your Dad was the best example and such a good friend to me. He truly was the best person I ever met. He called me in October last year and he was telling me how much he loves his new grandbabies. And every time I talked to him, he was always talking about you and Tyler and I know yall were the light of his world. I am praying for you every day.
