Mission to Fondwa, Haiti
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity -1 Timothy 4:12
Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. - John 13:14-17
Family and friends:
I have an amazing oppertunity to be God's light of the Earth again this summer in Fondwa, Haiti! I will be joining twenty of my peers from St. Luke's UMC to go down to Haiti in July to help with hurricane clean up and providing help in a medical center near the nation's capital. I am very excited to go on this trip for a few reasons: I am looking to be a nursing student in college (so the medical aspect will be amazing) to grow in my faith, and to explore another glimpse of God's beauty.
I have been dreaming of going to Haiti for years to serve the mountainous village of Fondwa. To help pay for this dream trip I have been working and saving for a few years now. If you feel called to donate, any amount is very much appreciated, along with prayers for travel, health, and purpose! Thank you for your support in making this trip happen for me!
