Medical costs for relocated parrots

After a fire at another bird rescue charity, Companion Parrots Re-Homed stepped in to rehouse 17 parrots who now need medical treatment, cages, and toys. They have requested help and my hope is that this campaign can provide some!


This was the information provided by Companion Parrots Re-Homed: 

"Our hearts are heavy with grief and sadness today. Many of you have heard about the tragic fire at Carolina Waterfowl Rescue last night. Today they are struggling to cope with the loss of life, caring for injured birds and damage to the facility. CPR was on the scene last evening to retrieve the parrots at CWR. We brought back the five Quakers and a dozen Cockatiels. They were in the building that caught fire and were exposed to smoke, but are expected to survive. They all need to be seen by a veterinarian, plus we're working on cage setups to provide them with space, accessories and toys.

Although the scope of loss and need at CWR is enormous, CPR is a small organization and we also need extra financial assistance at this time to support the needs of these parrots. Please consider a donation in any amount to help the birds."
