Manna Bags for the Homeless

For as long as I can remember the homeless have held a very special place in my heart. I decided that I wanted to do something that my daughter, Ava, could be a part of, so every year we collect items for manna bags to hand out during the Christmas season. These bags contain items such as, shampoo, conditioner, snacks, toothpaste and toothbrush, razors, feminine products, combs, bibles, rain ponchos and gift cards to McDonald’s. This year we would like to provide blankets as well! Last year we were able to make 25 manna bags! The joy on people’s faces is what it’s all about! In that moment they know they are seen and loved, and that is our overall goal. Ava and I would love if you would join us in helping to provide these bags.
