The recent verdict in Chicago Police Officer Jason Van Dyke's criminal
trial had a devastating impact on our community and law enforcement
around the world.  But this verdict has impacted Jason's wife and two
daughters more than words can describe.  Amongst the multitude of
struggles she has already faced in the past four years,  Jason's wife
Tiffany Van Dyke is now left to raise their two children on her own.

If you  would like to show  financial support for the Van Dyke girls, please donate here.

Thank you in advance for your support and please continue to pray for
the entire Van Dyke family as they try to come to grips with this
devastating loss and adjust to their life that has been unfortunately
changed forever.

(My name is Tammy Wendt and I am one of Jason's attorneys.  I  have also become  friends with the family during this horrendous  injustice that has had a negative affect on all of them.  The money raised here will go toward the support of Jason's wife and children to help pay for their daily living needs.  i.e., food, shelter, clothing, school,  transportation, etc.  The money will be paid directly to them from this fund.)

Happy New Year friends. Thank you again from Jason and the family for ALL of your generous donations, books, and online meals and gift baskets at the prison. So many of you have asked for updates so here's some info. Jason really enjoys the hot meals. It gives him something to look forward to. The jail decides when they will give them, so it's not consistent, but when he gets them he is so grateful. Jason's sentencing date is January 18th, so he will most likely be moving out of Rock Island County at or around that time. Where he will go is yet to be determined. It will all depend on the sentence. He is still in segregation, so he cannot leave his room for any reason except once a week for an hour when his family visits. Everything is brought to him. Please continue to pray for leniency, a just, fair sentence, and for Jason and his family to have hope and keep looking up. It's not over.

Merry Christmas from the Van Dyke family. May you all have a blessed day and remember the reason for the season. I’m sure you can all imagine that with Jason spending Christmas and Thanksgiving in jail, and his family not being able to see him on these Holidays, it is a difficult time for them all. Please remember Jason and his family in your prayers this season and thank you from Jason and Tiffany for all the generous donations they have received to support the family. Tiffany has expressed that all she wants for Christmas is Jason back home but we know that won’t happen this year. We are $7000.00 away from the goal, please pass this page along to your friends and family so we can meet that goal and maybe even exceed it. Also please remember to pray for Jason’s sentencing next month. Happy New Year - May 2019 be the year of JUSTICE FOR JASON!!!
