Help support the Van Dyke girls
The recent verdict in Chicago Police Officer Jason Van Dyke's criminal
trial had a devastating impact on our community and law enforcement
around the world. But this verdict has impacted Jason's wife and two
daughters more than words can describe. Amongst the multitude of
struggles she has already faced in the past four years, Jason's wife
Tiffany Van Dyke is now left to raise their two children on her own.
If you would like to show financial support for the Van Dyke girls, please donate here.
Thank you in advance for your support and please continue to pray for
the entire Van Dyke family as they try to come to grips with this
devastating loss and adjust to their life that has been unfortunately
(My name is Tammy Wendt and I am one of Jason's attorneys. I have also become friends with the family during this horrendous injustice that has had a negative affect on all of them. The money raised here will go toward the support of Jason's wife and children to help pay for their daily living needs. i.e., food, shelter, clothing, school, transportation, etc. The money will be paid directly to them from this fund.)
Well Jason is surviving, considering the circumstances, and is extremely grateful for all that you have done for him and his family. Tiffany is busy with the girls and taking care of things on her own. They are slowly adjusting to their unfortunate “new normal”. Tiffany and the girls have not seen Jason in several months since he has been in Federal custody. They miss each other so much its heartbreaking. On Jasons birthday they bought him a cake and sang to him to try and keep things normal for the girls but his absence was felt with a deafening silence. Tiffany continues to work as many hours as she can and is saving to afford to fly the 3 of them out there, rent a car and pay for a hotel. But they can only stay 2 days because she has to work and the girls have school. It’s just so sad that they won’t be able to see each other often because of the distance and that this is how it will be until he gets out. Please continue to pray for Jason to stay strong and for his family to survive this horrible tragedy. Thank you again for all of your emails, prayers, and generosity during this horrendous miscarriage of justice that has affected so many.
Just a quick update on Jason. He was moved again this past Monday but still in federal custody. And still on 23/7 lockdown for now. He sounds ok I would say after speaking with him. He is so grateful to all of you!! If you sent him books and letters it will all be transferred to him.
Tiffany and the girls are doing as well as can be expected and they are also so grateful to all of you as this fund has helped them survive with Jason gone.
Please message me if you would like his new address.
