The recent verdict in Chicago Police Officer Jason Van Dyke's criminal
trial had a devastating impact on our community and law enforcement
around the world.  But this verdict has impacted Jason's wife and two
daughters more than words can describe.  Amongst the multitude of
struggles she has already faced in the past four years,  Jason's wife
Tiffany Van Dyke is now left to raise their two children on her own.

If you  would like to show  financial support for the Van Dyke girls, please donate here.

Thank you in advance for your support and please continue to pray for
the entire Van Dyke family as they try to come to grips with this
devastating loss and adjust to their life that has been unfortunately
changed forever.

(My name is Tammy Wendt and I am one of Jason's attorneys.  I  have also become  friends with the family during this horrendous  injustice that has had a negative affect on all of them.  The money raised here will go toward the support of Jason's wife and children to help pay for their daily living needs.  i.e., food, shelter, clothing, school,  transportation, etc.  The money will be paid directly to them from this fund.)

Tiffany and the girls were finally able to visit Jason on Easter. They had a very emotional, long overdue visit. It was bittersweet I guess you could say. It was hard for all of them when it was time to go, not knowing when they would see each other again. It had been 3 months since they saw him last at his sentencing hearing. they are all having a hard time adjusting to their new normal, as it has sunk in now that this is what it will be for a long time. Please continue to pray. Thank you.

Hello All,
Well Jason is surviving, considering the circumstances, and is extremely grateful for all that you have done for him and his family. Tiffany is busy with the girls and taking care of things on her own. They are slowly adjusting to their unfortunate “new normal”. Tiffany and the girls have not seen Jason in several months since he has been in Federal custody. They miss each other so much its heartbreaking. On Jasons birthday they bought him a cake and sang to him to try and keep things normal for the girls but his absence was felt with a deafening silence. Tiffany continues to work as many hours as she can and is saving to afford to fly the 3 of them out there, rent a car and pay for a hotel. But they can only stay 2 days because she has to work and the girls have school. It’s just so sad that they won’t be able to see each other often because of the distance and that this is how it will be until he gets out. Please continue to pray for Jason to stay strong and for his family to survive this horrible tragedy. Thank you again for all of your emails, prayers, and generosity during this horrendous miscarriage of justice that has affected so many.

We are extremely pleased with the Supreme Courts decision handed down today DENYING the Attorney General and States Attorneys joint petition asking for more prison time for Jason. This is a victory for Jason and his family. We are pleased that the Supreme Court did not succumb to the political pressure that so many others have when it comes to this hot button case. Thank you for a little taste of justice today.

Hello friends,
Just a quick update on Jason. He was moved again this past Monday but still in federal custody. And still on 23/7 lockdown for now. He sounds ok I would say after speaking with him. He is so grateful to all of you!! If you sent him books and letters it will all be transferred to him.
Tiffany and the girls are doing as well as can be expected and they are also so grateful to all of you as this fund has helped them survive with Jason gone.
Please message me if you would like his new address.
