At Medina Creative Housing, our mission is to develop quality housing, services and supports to enable individuals with disabilities to live their lives with dignity and opportunity.  As we look into the future we see more and more opportunities to continue to build hope, develop confidence and create freedom. One main issue that we face with creating more opportunities is lack of transportation for the individuals that we serve. We are requesting funds to purchase a bus so that we can transport the individuals we serve into the community to their work sites, to recreational activities and to the many programs that our organization offers. Medina Creative Housing and its affiliates offer services and supports to the hundreds of individuals with disabilities that we serve. These include: employment and vocational training opportunities at Medina Creative Produce, Medina Creative Coffee, Medina Creative Pet Play, Creative Cafe's, Medina Creative Therapy Ranch, and Medina Creative Property Maintenance, a life skills training center, day support, adaptive arts, yoga, music, martial arts, therapeutic horseback riding at Medina Creative Therapy Ranch serving over 800 individuals with disabilities, resident enrichment programs, excursions, and so much more! Many of our residents rely solely on Medina Creative Housing for their transportation needs. As our organization expands  and develops, so does our need for transportation. Medina Creative Housing's goal pertaining to transportation is to have enough safe, handicapped accessible vehicles to meet the transportation requirements of our clientele. With a new bus, MCH will be able to operate its programs, as well as its transportation, more efficiently. With this bus, we will continue to help the many individuals with disabilities that we serve become productive, working members of society and help integrate them into the beautiful community that we have.
