Please help Cameron

As some of you may know my boyfriend, Cameron Ouellette was given some very life changing news about 6 months ago. Back in August Cameron was having some severe chest pain which led him to go to express care and have it checked out. When we got there we received some surprising results; so surprising that even the nurse was shocked. She told us that Cameron’s blood pressure was roughly 240/ 120. She told us that he needed to go to the emergency room immediately to have some blood work done. When we got there they took some blood, and while we awaited the results the doctors  thought he might be dehydrated, so they were giving him some fluids through an IV trying  to get the blood pressure to come down. That didn’t seem to be working, but we just kept on waiting to see if for some reason something would change. Eventually the blood tests came back and the doctor came in and told Cameron that his kidneys were failing and they didn’t know why... we all lost it, we were confused, the doctors were confused, no one had any answers. The doctors just knew they needed to get him up to Burlington and fast. Cameron spent 6 nights in the hospital while the doctors tried to pin point what caused this to happen and if it was reversible.  Over the week he spent in the hospital we all learned a lot, but one thing we learned was that Cameron was going to need a kidney transplant, and soon. He wasn’t just in kidney failure.. he was in stage 5 which was as bad as it gets. There was no reversing it without getting transplanted. This was absolutely crippling news, but he has been a trooper through all of the tough times. As most people know Cameron races at Thunder road and is very anxious to get back out on the track behind the wheel! Racing is his passion and it kills him knowing that he could miss even a small portion of the season due to this bump in the road.  I write this message to ask for YOUR help. We have bills, and he will have medicine expenses and we will need grocery’s, and gas money to travel to Burlington up to three times a week for dialysis and appointments. We unfortunately can’t do it alone. We would not ask if we did not absolutely need help, but this disease has effected all of us in a big way and we are still adjusting and trying to make ends meet at the same time. Cameron will eventually be out of work for Some time when surgery comes and we aren’t  quite sure how long yet, but when the time comes I won’t be able to pay our bills on my own. So please help us if you can. Every little bit counts and means the world to both of us.  Lastly if you or someone you know are interested in trying to donate please call 1-877-467-5102 and request a packet! Thank you for anyone  who can donate or at least share to help us push through this hardship.
