Max Spiers Memorial Fund

I am the mother of Max Spiers 8 year old son Kieran. I have known him and his family for 20 years. I am a full time student earning a bachelors degree and raising our son as a single parent. On Saturday, July 16 we lost our beloved son, father, brother and friend Max due to a tragic illness. Losing Max has been an extremely difficult cross for the family to bear. For all who knew and loved him and his work, you know his dedication to his supporters was infinite. His memory will not only live on through the messages he provided, but through his young son Kieran. Max is the only father he has known. Max was very important to his son. Although Max lived far away, he loved his son with a father's heart. Despite his status as a public figure, most did not know this side of Max and may not have known about his child. 

Max wanted so much to protect his little man, so he kept him close to his heart although they were many miles away from each other. Max had a dream that one day Kieran would find his destined place in the world and that he always be surrounded by happiness and love. Unfortunately Max did not survive long enough to see his son grow up to be a man, a father, or a leader as he was. Max's passing brings a heavy burden onto the hearts of his family. Max would have wanted that school supplies, clothing, and additional necessities required to raise Kieran would be provided to his child in his absence.

We are asking for your help in providing these necessities to Kieran so that he can focus on healing and living a safe and supported life. The loss has been so dificult for his son and the family. They are struggling now without Max and struggling to provide for his son this up coming school year.

We thank you for any donations you can provide to Max's son Kieran which will be used towards school uniforms, shoes, socks, underwear, casual play clothes, school supplies, a backpack, a lunchbox, a re-usable water bottle, sunblock, school mascot spirit day t-shirt, registration fees towards securing before and after school care, after school hip-hop dance class, gifted and intelligent enrichment field trips, cash donations to the elementary school for enrichment field trips (bus expenses and lunch), art supplies and a family vacation to go somewhere of his choice so that we can celebrate Max's life when his family comes to visit us later this year. If there are remaining funds, Kieran would like some new video games. Max loved chess and I would love to get Kieran a nice chessboard. Any remaining funds will be saving towards Kieran future as he is a bright and exceedingly talented child whose life has been restricted deeply by financial strain.
