MaxMan Reptile Fundraiser

$14,395 of $100,000 goal

Raised by 268 people in 18 months
On the morning of December 1st 2016 a house fire in the town of Elbridge NY devastated the lives of the founders of Maxman Reptile Rescue.  Their home was destroyed, most of their animals were lost and Scott Dombrowski, founder Diana's husband, is hospitalized in critical condition after he was overcome while trying to save the animals.  For all of us who work rescue and have multiple animals in our homes this is probably our very worst nightmare.  I run Kindred Spirits Greyhound Adoption and Diana and Scott have helped us out too many times to count.  They have done transports for us, fostered dogs for us, networked animals with us,  taken in a hospice dog and cared for him until the end and done just about anything that we've ever asked.  Now they need our help.  They have lost just about everything.  ALL of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to Diana for whatever she and Scott need.  Please give whatever you can.  No amount is too small.

This is incredibly sad news. Scott and Diana and all of the MaxMan Reptile Crew have been advocates for animal welfare and spent much of their time educating the public on proper reptile pet care. They have been a fixture of the CNY community. On behalf of the CNY Veterinary Medical Association, we offer our sincere condolences and a donation to help the family. Prayers are with you.

My heartfelt condolences to his family. He truly was a hero attempting to save the animals from his home, a very selfless thing to do, and very unfortunate it caused him to lose his life. May this beautiful angel be remembered always. Rest in peace.....God bless!

My heart breaks for her Her and her husband were one of these nicest people I have ever met. One of my dogs got sick about 2 years ago and at the time i didn't have a car, they drove from elbridge to auburn to help me get my dog to the vet, they stayed with me the entire time, even got a speeding ticket rushing him to the vet came back to my home after to give him an IV .. even stopped back over to make sure he made a good recovery. I am so sorry this happened to her and her family So sorry.
