Matthew R. Deery Memorial Video
My name is Dean Berrigan and I created this Gofundme page in honor of my friend, Matt Deery.
It has been just over four years since the tragic passing of Matt Deery. He was a great friend to not only me but the entire Phillipsburg Class of 2011. Aside from being an amazing friend, he was an exceptional athlete and a dearly loved member of his family!
Matthew meant so much to me and countless others that many people, including myself, continue to visit his grave. Soon after the anniversary of his passing I began to write a song in his memory! Shortly after writing the song and making a personal recording, I contacted a music artist in Nashville, Tennessee who quickly agreed to sing and produce my song! In an attempt to properly tribute his memory, I contacted a media production group to create a music video for his song. My goal is $600.00 but of course, the more money I can raise, the better I can improve the quality of the video. Also, within the music video will be footage of his friends and family including a group photo of everyone by his grave site. The goal helps to provide food and drinks to everyone participating!!
I truly hope to commemorate our dear friend and would love and appreciate any support! When someone passes away, the loved ones left behind desperately need something to hold onto, I hope this song and video can serve as that special something.
