A few days ago, an unfortunate incident occurred at my local masjid in Blacksburg, VA. Someone broke into the masjid and stole money from the donation boxes and some of the money needed to replace the HVAC system. It is estimated that the loss is of several hundred dollars. Let's all take this opporunity and help Masjid Al-Ihsan get back on its feet and fulfill our obligation of giving back to the Ummah InshaAllah. All donations will be given directly to Masjid Al-Ihsan to fund their HVAC replacement project, support for two Syrian refugee families that have relocated here in Blacksburg, and makeup for the other general donations lost.
This masjid has done a lot for the community, especially for me. They have provided me with the resources to increase the strength of my deen and obtain more knowledge on Islam. It would personally mean a lot to me if we were all able to give back together.
