MAS Lady Novas are going to State!
For the first time in school history, Milwaukee Academy of Science has a team going to the WIAA state tournament! On Thursday, March 2nd, MAS Lady Novas defeated Hilbert 68-58. On Saturday, March 4th, the Lady Novas earned a State berth with a victory over Fall River 76-74. Our Lady Novas are now just TWO wins from a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!
This exciting win does come with a cost. We have to provide transportation and hotel rooms for our basketball players. Additionally, we hope to secure a fan bus so our high school students can attend the game and support our athletes. If the Lady Novas win Friday, we earn a spot in the championship game on Saturday. MAS would like to provide transportation again for students and families to witness the historic event!
If our MAS Lady Novas are to make it to the championship game the school needs to come up with about $5,000 to cover all costs. MAS thanks you for your generosity and help in providing this momentous experience for our school!
