Mary Shelley Window for the Library

In 2009, we commissioned a stained-glass medallion honoring writer Zora Neale Hurston for the OSF Library at the University of St. Thomas. It was the first stained-glass window in the library to honor a woman author. With your help, we plan to add a second medallion that will hang in a window overlooking the quad. This piece will honor Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein, a novel that is celebrating its bicentenary anniversary this year. Here is the magnificent design created by Pickel Studios, the same firm that created the other stained-glass windows in the library. All contributors will be invited to an unveiling ceremony on December 4 at 5:30 p.m.
