Martinez Lopez Family Fund


On Monday, July 16, 2018, husband and wife, Juan Enriquez Martinez and Cristina Garcia Lopez,  passed away in a fatal car accident in Accomac, Virginia –--leaving behind their two daughters, Elizabeth, 15,  and Jacqueline, 12,  who were severely injured in the crash. 

The Martinez Lopez children no longer have their parents and they are presently hospitalized and undergoing multiple surgeries. They will be needing long-term medical treatment and support.  In addition, the family is incurring charges for international funeral services since Juan and Cristina will be buried in Oaxaca, Mexico. 

Dos Santos Community Services is assisting the family to raise funds for funeral costs and medical expenses.  We are asking the community and all those who feel touched by this tragedy to please donate generously to the Martinez Lopez Family Fund.

Elizabeth and Jacqueline have a long road to recovery and no amount is too little to help them. We thank you in advance and ask you to please share this campaign with others.

El lunes 16 de Julio del 2018, esposo y esposa, Juan Enriquez Martínez y Cristina García López, fallecieron en un accidente automovilístico en Accomac, Virginia, dejando a sus dos hijas huérfanas--- Elizabeth Areli, de 15 años, y Jacqueline de 12 años—-quienes fueron gravemente heridas en el accidente.

Las niñas Martinez Lopez ya no tienen a sus padres y están hospitalizadas, esperando múltiples cirugías. Necesitarán tratamiento y apoyo médico a largo plazo y la familia está incurriendo cargos por servicios fúnebres internacionales ya que Juan y Cristina serán enterrados en Oaxaca, México.

Dos Santos está ayudando a la familia a recaudar fondos para gastos fúnebres y médicos. Le estamos pidiendo a la comunidad, y a todos aquellos que se sienten conmovidos por esta tragedia, que por favor donen generosamente a este fondo para la familia Martinez López.
