Transition Radio is a prominent internet media source for the LGBTQA Community and others, sharing an alternative voice in areas of health, nutrition, spirituality, and current events. Transition Radio TV features Mark Angelo's and Lynna Arielle's Real Talk along with amazing guests from around the world, providing a platform for honest discussion.
TR's host Mark Angelo Cummings was born biologically a female and transitioned to become a male in 2003. Due to a number of reasons, Mark now identifies as gender variant and advocates for freedom of gender expression without the removal of anyone's true biological sex, or the harming of perfectly healthy genitals and body. TR's hostess Lynna Arielle was born biologically a male and transitioned in 2013. The two met under tragic circumstances while Lynna was in the hospital recovering from a serious car accident that occured when she was on her way to meet Mark for the first time. With a background in the medical field, Mark immediately felt moved to care for Lynna and assist her recovery and the two have been together ever since. United in love, Mark and Lynna have since become engaged and are collaborating as hosts for Transition Radio, truth-tellers, and health enthusiasts .
Combining the courses of two personal transition experiences with discussion of acute concerns relating to gender stereotyping, the "transing" of children, and the harmful effects of hormones and puberty blockers, as well as any type of genital reconstructioning, or body mutilation, Mark and Lynna have recognized the need for gender variant people and othes to have support, education, and a full spectrum of choices other than the typical trans narrative. Mark and Lynna have become strong advocates for LGB, gender variant children, and also fight to protect women's rights and feel safe in women's only spaces.
In their own words, Mark and Lynna define their MISSION is to:
"Break down the gender boxes.
Ensure the health and well being of ever gender variant person.
Prevent the harmful adminstration of puberty blockers, hormonal therapies, and unnecessary medical procedures in CHILDREN (under age).
Offer a healthy and holistic alternative to the typical trans narrative (which includes the use of puberty blockers and cross sex hormone treatments.)
Demonstrate that Gender Dysphoria is not a true diagnosis but only a side affect of a deeper neurological/endocrinological issue that has been over looked by the medical community.
And, help people realize that they are perfect the way they are and free to express without harming themselves and infringing on others. "
Taking an uncomfortable, but necessary stance as Truth-tellers and gender variant advocates within the LGB community has proven a difficult path for Mark and Lynna as they have been unfairly targeted with lies and received numberous personal attacks and death threats online, as well as lost sponsorship for their show as a result of speaking out. But, rallied on by friends and supporters, Mark and Lynna are committed to continue their radio show and raising awareness of the real dangers that youth face in the hands of the some trans advocates and the medical community. They also feel compelled to support people in feeling comfortable in their own skin without feeling they must undergo harmful medical interventions.
With a fearless mission to open up hearts and minds, and protect the lives of children and gender variant people, Mark and Lynna of Transition Radio, are determined to be the other voice and not be silenced. Besides continuing to share their message on Transition Radio, the two dream of creating educational seminars and traveling to schools and other places sharing their message. They hope to help bridge the gap, break down barriers, and inspire others to learn to love themselves unconditionally, no matter who they love or identify as.
