Mark Farmer
Mark is a middle school teacher who has recently been diagnosed with Metastatic Malignant Melanoma. The cancer has spread throughout his body including his bones, liver, and lungs. Mark has stopped working in order to seek treatment. We are looking to raise money for Mark and his family as travel expenses, medical bills, prescription costs, and the cost of everyday living is becoming overwhelming. Due to the severity of this disease, time is of the essence. Mark and his family should not have to worry about money, rather their efforts need to be focused on his treatment and spending time together.
Mark has dedicated much of his life to teaching and working with children, whether in the classroom, as a coach or as a camp counselor at the YMCA. It is time for us to give back to Mark!

There will be a Daddy Daughter Benefit Dance on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 4-7PM at Arcadia High School (8210 Lankford Hwy, Oak Hall, VA 23416). Tickets are $25 a couple. There will be a Grand March for all fathers and their daughters at 4:30PM. Cost to watch the Grand March is $5. Snacks and Drinks will be available.
