Mariupol Ukraine Orphan Christmas

My family and I are raising money for the Solnishko (sun) orphanage in Anna’s hometown of Mariupol Ukraine. We are hoping to provide fresh fruits for the orphanages St Nicholas day celebration on Dec 19th and possibly provide a small toy for Christmas as well. Mariupol is the frontline for the current war in Ukraine and life is especially difficult for these youngsters. 100% of all money raised (minus the go fund me portion) will go to the purchase of fruit or toys for the orphanage if any funds are left over additional items such as shoes, clothes ect will be purchased and donated directly to the orphanage. Produce will be purchased from a reputable local import company vetted by Anna’s brother in law. Anna and I will be covering shipping as well any additional fees.
A little go fund me house keeping:
Our relationship to the benificiaries--There are 3 main orphanages in Mariupol all three are in need and very deserving of any help. We have picked Solnishko because they have 96 children and we feel that is an amount of children that the funds that we will be able to raise would be able to have a solid impact on and quite frankly if we are unable to raise the goal amount Anna and I would be able to atleast be able to provide fruits for.
How funds will be distributed:
On Dec 22nd or when we have hit our goal we will wire the money to Anna's brother in law to purchase the fruits and possibly toys. Any extra funds will be used to purchase items such as shoes, clothes ect that will also be donated to the orphanage. Anna's brother in law will accompany the delivery driver to the orphanage on the 24th and we are planning on having a video made to share with everyone.
UPDATE***We have raised enough money that we will be able to provide a small toy, candy as well as toothbrushes, diapers and clothes(dresses, diapers and undergarments)
