Marin Housing Campaign

$17,500 of $35,000 goal

Raised by 22 people in 22 months
RHM which was founded by volunteers in Cincinnati, Ohio provides a day center in Constanta, Romania on the Black Sea, for children and young adults with profound disabilities. Daily RHM serves these very poor and neglected people with medical care, physical therapy, social activities and education. These people added what we could not. They added community and love for each other. This is RHM'S 19th year.
One of the major contributors to our program is the daily teaching, ministry and love of our Social Worker, Liviu Marin. A very spiritual man, Liviu, his wife and 2 children live far from our facility in a very rough section of Constanta. The whole family gives love and respect to our people. We want to move Liviu and his family across the city to a flat available near the Day Center toured in the attached video. It is also near our Program Director and Medical Director Silviu and Dr. Gabi Ghereben.
Safety is a big issue. But also locating a very important and wonderful servant much closer to his work. This is about the future of a work that serves, " the least of these" through a man and his family that gives all they have for others. Please help us.

Below, Liviu leeds our group in song.

We have news. The Marin's old house will sell for more than we anticipated. We can still meet the Marin's need but for less.

My name is Jerry Skinner. In 1998, I made my first visit to Constanta, Romania. The hundreds of handicapped children in the streets, sewers and on the Black Sea beaches shocked me. In 1999 I gathered some friends and incorporated in the US. By 2005 we incorporated in Romania and hired 4 staff persons. One of those staff persons was Liviu Marin. Liviu, his wife Simona and two children Andre and Lois live on the far side of Constanta. Liviu has worked for my NGO, Romanian Handicapped Ministries for 17 years. Look at the organization website: www.romanianhandicapped.com.
Liviu is a wonderful man. He gives his energy and life to the kids and their families. He has never asked for anything except to make a difference

Liviu needs to move. His neighborhood is far from our Day Center. It is not safe and it sits at the base of the city steam plant. An unhealthy place for his wife who is not in good health.

When you donate your funds will be held by Go Fund Me until I withdraw them and place them in a separate account which I will maintain. I will personally transfer funds to Liviu Marin in July 2017 and December 2017 all funds will be gifted to the Marin family and no gifted money will be used for any cost associated with the fund raising. You may question me at 513 532 9200 during normal business hours.
