Marilyn's medical

This page is for my sweet Momma who is having a total thyroidectomy within the next week. She was told by the hospital she needed to pay a minimal 1200.00 deposit to get the surgery, which is deemed medically necessary. We are able to secure a catastrophic insurance plan that will ensure we only have to pay the monthly premium and 7900.00 out of pocket max. She is not eligible for any other support because she is not deemed disabled and makes "too less" for the marketplace tax credit. Between the extra work Glenn and I have picked up and some of her sweet friends, we have been able to secure the deposit!! We will need help now for the deductible/out of pocket max and monthly premium. We are determined to help Mom carry this financial load that, unfortunately, couples with the necessary medical care we will all find ourselves needing at some point. For us, it was just two years ago with Glenn's cancer diagnosis. We know, first hand, how much easier a burden is to bear when not bearing it alone. BUT.. first and most, we just ask for your prayers. Pray for her entire surgical and anesthesia team, no complications, no bleeding or infection, minimal pain, quick healing, preserved laryngeal nerves and  parathyroid glands, and a pathology report that returns verbalizing clear margins and containment. She has never been hospitalized and/or had any major health problems or surgery. We ask you pray specifically for all the details, known and unknown, that Christ Jesus will cover them all and protect her. Finally, if you are able to give monetarily, just know that it is very much appreciated and will be used responsibly for her medical bills and any subsequent treatments. Thanks so much!
