Maria's Home Campaign

At 1:40 a.m. on morning, February 27th, Maria Uppal's Family home in Burnaby, BC caught on fire. Thankfully, the seven household members escaped without injury and were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation and observation.  

The household members range from two young boys, ages 6 and 9, a 19 year-old daughter, Maria – the mother, a grandmother, and two students in their 20s.

The first floor of the house is completely destroyed with significant damage to the second floor. Maria’s family has lost everything in this fire – their home, furniture, clothing, kids toys, etc. 

This fund has been established to pull together and give comfort to Maria and her family and help them rebuild and recover from this tragic event.  Any amount will provide support during this difficult time.
