Mariachi Oro's Washington DC Perf

We are Mariachi Oro de Rancho. We are a coed mariachi band consisting of 19 students ranging from grades 9 to 12 whose greatest ambitions, apart from academic success, are to achieve musical excellence, perfect the art of working together, and to never stop improving. In order to succeed as a group in the performing arts, we are obliged to spend many hours practicing both individually and together. Thankfully, each one of us is happy to attend each rehearsal and get along like one big family. Although our being able to be more than just coworkers and the talent each one of us possesses are some of the most important aspects of our playing, our director will not let us perform on stage unless we perform well in school. Every student has potential and will not stop until success is met and all goals have been accomplished.

As an active performing arts group, sharing the music that we are passionate about is important and gratifying. In previous years, Mariachi Oro de Rancho has had the privilege and honor of attending various mariachi conferences and performances in Reno, Tucson, and our hometown of Las Vegas. This year, Mariachi Oro de Rancho is working towards the incredible honor of attending and performing in Washington DC. That goal, however, cannot be met without the proper funds. We ask that you please open your hearts to us and consider donating to our cause.
