Dear Family and Friends
As many of you know our much beloved Maria began a battle on 3/2/2018 against viral encephalitis, which is a virus that made its way into her brain. She has been on a slow road to recovery, and we are praying for full healing. This journey will be months long, with many visits from therapists, nurses, and visits to the doctors via medical transport.
Ken, her amazing husband, has not left her side since the evening she arrived at Mission Hospital and is a key part to her recovery. His love for Maria and encouragement has been an example of what it means to love through the ups and downs, sickness and health. Leading by faith and prayer Ken has been a strong husband and father to his family. We are so grateful for everyone’s support whether it’s been physically being here at the hospital or spiritually through the many prayer chains for Maria’s recovery. Though we don’t know when this journey may come to an end with full restoration we do know that getting the best medical treatment and doctors does have a cost. If you feel led to support and bless Maria and Ken Brown on their journey to recovery, financially, it would be a blessing that would help alleviate one of the many stresses along the way.
