Marginal Way Legacy for Carolyn
Donation protected
***All funds will go directly to the $1000 fee for reserving a spot, with a temporary bronze line on plaque 4. The family will be covering the remaining $9000 once plaque 6 is complete and cast sometime in the next couple years.
We lost our mom. Carolyn Ralph died January 3rd, 2017. She was a friend to the church, a loving mother, and a dear friend to many in her community. Those fortunate enough to have known Carolyn would certainly be able to tell you a story about Ogunquit, Maine. As she often described her 'favorite place in the whole world', the more intimate stories would include the Marginal Way. This mile-long walking path along the rocky coast has always been her favorite retreat. 39 benches span the one mile path, each with a dedication, her favorite being 'David's Bench'.
The Marginal Way Preservation Fund is constructing one final site for donor dedications, after which a moratorium will prevent any more such sites from being built. Carolyn's children Dan, Cherie, Katie, and Joe would like to see Carolyn be among the final names on the Marginal Way legacy memorial. 200 spaces remain on these 10 plaques, each holding 25 names, so please do whatever you can to help us memorialize her final resting place.
You can find more information on the Marginal Way legacy site at www.marginalwayfund.org
