On December 18th, Marcus Fischer was involved in a incident that ended in him being shot by MPD in Minneapolis City Hall. Marcus is currently being treated for his injuries at Hennipen County Medical Center.
Marcus is a caring, hardworking individual. He is the friend you can always count on. Students & Teachers at Menlo Park Academy (the highschool he attended) have very fond memories of him from past years.
Bethany Shafer (his advisory teacher) remembers he was always a strong leader in class . She says sometimes he would sit in her class (science) for almost two hours getting help so that he could pass biology even though he hated it.

Helen Henly (Menlo's Director) says she isn't good with specific memories, But remembers he had such a good energy & vibe. She says he wasn't perfect BUT he was very self reflective and was able to learn from his mistakes.
Asia Hyatt (a fellow Menlo student) says he is an amazing person and has always been there for her.
Lakeisha Barnes (a friend) says Marcus is Fearless & a true Fighter. He has left an impact on her heart & many others.
Marcus' family still has many questions about the incident & are praying for healing...
A average day in a hospital in Minnesota is between 1,033 & 2,657 $USD. As of today (12/21/17) Marcus has been hospitalized for 3 days and still isn't concious.
