2nd March On 5k Admin Fees

Hello!

In the aftermath of last year's the election, we were inspired by the Inaguration Day 5K's and wanted to spring into action! We put on the March on 5k in March of 2017 and raised $31,982 for Planned Parenthood. 

We are hosting the second annual March On 5K run/walk at Greenlake Park, WA on March 10th to benefit Planned Parenthood of the Greater Northwest.
The city has granted us an additional 1,500 participant spots, for a total of 3,000 participants. Our goal is to raise $60,000 this year.

Our vision is to provide an inclusive, positive walk/run supporting an organization that has provided many important health services since 1942. 

We have secured the location, permit, and are working on the liability insurance for the event in March.

We have committed some of our own money to this event, but we need help to make it a success and cover all of the costs.

Donations made to this gofundme will go directly to pay for administrative costs, and any money raised above our goal will be donated to Planned Parenthood of the Greater Northwest. 

Here's what we need help with:

Park permit: $225 (includes space + security)

Insurance: $400-500 (depends on the number of participants)

Bibs: $50-$100 (depends on the number of participants)

Buff: (race day item in lieu of t-shirt) $6,000-9,000 (depends on the number of participants). The cost savings for having this item in lieu of a t-shirt is  $4,000-7,000

Wordpress Cost: $220

Our team has experience with event planning, specifically 5K walk/runs, and we greatly appreciate your support and every donation as we invest our time in this cause and work hard to coordinate this 5K.
