Maniac Cop

So I'm giving serious thought to making a new Maniac Cop short film. I previously made two other shorts back in 2008 as part of an attempt to acquire the rights to do a feature length remake, but sadly, that never happened. Though, I did manage to get pretty far in the process. You can view the shorts below:

I've always loved Maniac Cop and since 2008, my skills as a filmmaker have drastically improved. So I feel it is only fitting that I attempt to make a new short to help keep the legend of Matt Cordell, as well as the late great Robert Z'Dar alive.

I am basically starting from scratch. A new Maniac Cop short will require a brand new outfit, props, weapons, makeup fx, etc. I don't want to cut corners with this project, and I don't think you want me to either. Should I reach my goal, I can guarantee (at least) a 30 minute Maniac Cop adventure!
