Medical Fund for Jay Family
This fund page was started at the urging of some very special people that have been with us along this unique and strange journey. First a thank you to all of you for the prayers, support and kindness through this time and a special shout out to the "Living Chandler Facebook" community as well as Lily Soto from Univision Arizona for helping us get the story out to educate others.
It all started in Chandler, Arizona when my husband (Thomas) took out the trash. He came running in to tell me that he had gotten bitten or stung by something he had never saw before. When we looked up the pictures, it closely resembled a "Solifugae "!
It started with one little round circle and became an emergency in a matter of hours! In between were an Urgent Care and two hospitals within a 24 period. We are stilling praying there are no long-term affects but there are still issues with the arm and more medical tests and doctors to see.
After being encouraged by many to start a gofundme page, we set aside our pride and realized that there are many wonderful people willing to help us overcome the upcoming medical costs associated with the many specialists, toxicologists, and handful's of others that were called into the hospital to review and study my husband Thomas.
We are overwhelmed that so many people care about a perfect stranger showing their humanity, goodness and support!
