Get Roseville Family Remote Start
Taylor Trupiano, 24, of Roseville, left his car running in his own driveway around noon on Jan. 5 when he ran inside his home for around five to seven minutes to drop off groceries and pick up his girlfriend and her young son.
“My car takes forever to warm up,” Trupiano said of the 1997 Chrysler Concorde. “And I believe the temperature was around 5 degrees outside.”
When he came back outside there was a ticket for $128 parking ticket he received for leaving his car unattended with the keys in the ignition -- in his own driveway!!
This is unjust. He did nothing wrong but warm up his car so his own family could be warm! This police officer had no business coming onto his private property let alone leaving this ticket! The City of Roseville cites "public safety" but we all know this was nothing more than revenue generation.
Mr. Trupiano is being represented Pro-Bono by Nicholas P. Somberg of Somberg Law, PLLC who is also the creator of this fundraiser
THIS GO FUND ME IS TO REACH OUT TO ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET TO BUY MR. TRUMPIANO A REMOTE START for his vehicle (which apparently makes it OK to leave your vehicle started and unatended)!
Lets show the City of Roseville and the Roseville police that the people REJECT their actions and will help this family to never have to get into a freezing cold vehicle again!
Or just spend the $125 for a remote start... and if he was running in groceries and Picking up kid gf that's not really warming up his car... Not to mention if it's against the law it's against the law... raising $20,000 to buy the guy a car doesn't really make s ton of sense to me.... what's next you gonna start buying new cars for every person who gets a ticket?
First of all the vehicle was driven over there, not started in the driveway to warm up. Second if the car was stolen, insurance would invalidate your claim and not pay since you left the keys in it. Third now you are claiming the vehicle is too old to get a remote start. I call bs on this whole thing. Go to court, fight it if you think you are right. Pay what the judge orders if you lose and learn from your mistakes. I don't feel sorry for you. I sit in my cold a$$ car because I do not have a remote start. Then I drive away because cars that "take forever to warm up" do so better while not idling.
Any lawyer supporting this n even making a go fund me for this guy, is just as nutty as the guy that got the ticket.. This can be turned in as a scam. Pay your ticket n move on. You broke the law in Roseville . The minute you break the law your private property isn't so private. Hence is why you got the ticket, you broke the law.
This is a joke right lmao, i agree with Justin and Jeanette 100% so I guess I'm dumb. He got a ticket and he will fight and win because there is no law in Roseville against it and they had an officer on the radio who confirmed it this morning. All because he got a ticket doesn't mean that he deserves a new car, work hard save money and buy a new car or fix the one he's got, I do not feel bad at all, people get tickets daily for stupid shit.
Wow I got a page for my dying mother and I give up her 24/7 care. And I see this bull crap. And it was supposably created by lawyer Shakin my head you want to read a story click on my page that's where you getting ticketed and might be unfair but really and you headed up to 20 grand so both of you can just profit sickening
This is seriously the funniest thing I have read all week. As if the ticket wasn't the biggest enough of a joke. I got a ticket for making an illegal U turn because I missed my street. Can I start a gofundme so people can donate to buy me a brand new truck with built in navigation?
If you look into Roseville, it's a city ordinance, any motor RUNNING without a person present is against the law in Roseville, that should be no one else's problem but your own. No one should help this person out, so if he gets help for not following a law, should we all make a gofundme account for any traffic tickets or anything else for that matter? No this is just pain stupidity.
