It's been awhile since I have put up an update.
Jason is doing amazing! We are so proud of him and his progress. He is relearning how to walk. We got to see him walk across the room, it was awesome! He is talking pretty good but he still has trouble choosing the words he's wanting to use. He tells us he knows what he wants to say but when he trys to say it, it won't come out right. He's getting there. Everyday is better than the last.
He has an appointment with his surgeon next week to check in and see how he's doing. From that appointment we will find out when he will have his next surgery to put a plate in his head. He will be able to come home shortly after that.
I get to pick him up and take him to his appointment then bring him home for the night! We are all so excited to have him home, even if it's just for one night.
Another update on our craziness; we have to move asap. Where we live right now is not safe for him. We are in a two story condo with the bathroom with the shower and bedrooms upstairs. That's a problem because he cannot do stairs yet. The massive medical bills are rolling in all at the same time. Please share our go fund me page, we need the help. We most definitely appreciate your help, support and prayers. Thank you so much!

ok, here we go. Jason has been in a rehab center and is doing amazing! His doctors didnt think he'd be able to talk for at least a year, he has proven them so wrong! The first thing he said was i love you! He can talk, but he has a hard time choosing the words he wants to use. He knows his family, he misses us and we miss him.He can sit up in his bed or wheelchair. He still has very limited mobility on his right side. Jason's able to eat a little now! He had some yogurt and fruit, drank coffee and water. He is starting to understand what happened to him, and it's sad because he wants to know why this has happened to him and we dont have a "good" answer. We got to see his beautiful smile and hear him laugh today as well. Made my day!! He got lots of love from Adelynn and got to do a video chat with Chase and Emma since they were not feeling so good this morning. He absolutely loved seeing his kids! Continued prayers, love and support is needed. Thank you to everyone who has donated, prayed and shared this gofundme page! We appreciate and love all of you! Thank you and God bless! ❤

Today is day 10 without the love of my life, my best friend and my partner in crime.
I got a call from the surgeon a little after 12:30 last night. He said they had to take Jason back into the OR because of swelling. They cleaned out the old blood and took out the piece of brain that had the stroke. He will be heavily sedated again for a day or so. Also, they are going to wait a couple days before they decide to do the trech and feeding tube. Please keep praying for my love to wake up soon.

UPDATE: They disconnected the sedation completely! His nurse said he's been just resting all day, pretty uneventful. They are still messing with his blood pressure, trying to keep it below 150. She said it's been a calm day, he's moved around a little bit but mostly chillin.
The GREAT NEWS...They said he should start to wake up soon! I want soon to be minutes, of course, but getting him off the sedation is great progress.
As always, thank you for the continued love and support.
