This is the unfortunate development at the Malone Center in Lincoln, NE.
The children of Talented Tenth and Strong Courageous Girls Program raised more than $9,000 for their annual trip. Due to funding source changes, they have been denied use of those funds and cannot go on the trip.

These are children with above par grades, good behavior, community engagement and exemplary espirit de corps. There is no doubt that these children deserve this well-earned annual trip.
The Muslim Community of Lincoln in partnership with the Parents of the Strong Courageous Girls and Young Men have committed to raising the $9,000 needed for the trip.
We are a community. And as a community, we take care of our children.
