Twenty-four Malibu Educators have lost their homes in the recent events of the Woolsey Fire; we have created this GoFund Me page to support the Malibu School Educators, both past and present, who have lost so much.  As has been evidenced by the extreme outpouring of support we've witnessed these past few days, Malibu is one of many resilient and caring communities affected by this fire.  This is a community raised by incredible educators whose schools have served as a second home to our children for decades.

Below please read the list of educators (that we know of at this time) who have lost their homes:

* Pat Cairns, past Principal and teacher at Malibu High School and Juan Cabrillo
* Juley Ausmus, current Instructional Aide at Juan Cabrillo
* Bill Bixler, past Music teacher at Malibu High
* Jennifer Lawrence, past Instructional Aide at Juan Cabrillo Elementary
* Cyndie Weinstock, current teacher at Juan Cabrillo
* Patti Mehring, current teacher at Juan Cabrillo
* Julie Siegel, Assistant Principal at Juan Cabrillo and Point Dume Marine

*Jeannie Buckley, present teacher at Children's Creative Workshop
* Fred Wilkins, past teacher at Malibu Park Middle School

These are people who have spent their whole careers supporting Malibu children and families.
These are the people who will return to work to continue nurturing students now devastated by what they've lost in the fire.
They will nurture, as they always do, when they are the ones that need our nurturing.

In the next few months, your tax-deductible donation can help those who have lost their homes with:

-debris removal
- housing
- food
- toiletries
- pet boarding
- and so much more.

If needed, we will add to the list when more is known.  Thank you for your support of these incredible people.
