Malibu Lake Wildfire Help for Will

The catastrophic firestorm that hit Malibou Lake on Nov 9, 2018  destroyed so many properties in our community.

This man's home was reduced to ashes and 3000 copies of the the book he authored were lost as well. 

 Will's insurance will cover a small amount, but not what would be needed to rebuild a structure. The amount above represents a very modest estimate for a building a 1000 sq ft home or $ for him to use to start fresh. 

All of Malibou Lake / Malibu lake is hurting,  for ourselves, for others, for everyone affected by the fires, we all say things like "at least it was insured" and when we can't say that we just sob.  

Helping our neighbor will help us. Will Thach has spent a lifetime building relationships, helping other humans and trying to put messages of hope, levity and joy into the world.

Will Thach is a person who will help anyone at any moment, if you ask Will if you can borrow a tool of his, he comes over and helps with the project. If you ask will to help write up a little wording for something, he delivers a concise and researched perfectly written piece within hours, he's an expert tennis player and teaches neighborhood kids who want to learn, he brings you a sandwich because you mentioned you were hungry and overwhelmed with paperwork, he has served for a long time on the community's board of directors to help solve problems. Will is thoughtful and kind and a true and loyal friend and the best possible neighbor. 

Will Thach is the author of a beautiful book "The Girl Who Saved Christmas", he made it velvet, with a snap closure and a ribbon, and that drove the price up. Having spent time in Rwanda with the Red Cross, a portion of Will's book sales were being donated to Embower Zambia.
