Maleeka's Car

Maleeka is a social worker who is starting a doctoal program in January 2017. Maleeka has dedicated her career to working with children and youth who have experienced abuse, neglect and trauma. It's not a high-paying career, but she's not in it for money.

This week, Maleeka's car was vandalized and burned. She is safe and doesn't believe she was targeted-- police still investigating. But the car was torched beyond repair. It was covered under liability and not comprehensive, so it's a loss.  It's an ugly and unfortunate tragedy.

Maleeka can make car payments but is hard pressed to make a down payment on a car atthe same time she's starting a PhD program to continue in the field of child abuse trauma.

Any donations- $10, $25 or of course more will go a long way to help her secure a safe and reliable car so that she can continue zipping around CO building better futures for kids who need help. Maleeka has a huge giving heart and will be so grateful for any support at all after. Thank you.
