We are friends of Sheryl and Jon Blanksby who are one of the most caring, adoring and generous families we've ever met. They have 2 wonderful children, William and Thomas. William is a brilliant older brother who absolutely loves his new little brother.

Tragically, this week they received news that flipped their world upside down. Thomas, their 11 week old baby boy has terminal cancer. He’s already been through one tough operation to remove a tumour in his kidney and they thought the next step would be going through his recovery process. Sadly, this wonderful family are now left with precious limited time with their little man.

We want to raise some money for this beautiful family so they can enjoy the time they have left with their son, allowing them to make some amazing memories together, without the stresses of worrying about the costs that will come later. We want to give them all the time they have with their child and enjoy some little adventures.

Your kind donations will allow them to enjoy the time they have as a family, and also help with the inevitable costs to come. Please help The Blanksbys make memories with Thomas.

"It is with immense sadness that we share, our #littlewarriorthomas grew his angel wings yesterday night, 8th of May 2017 at 730pm. He was surrounded by family and right next to his mummy and daddy when he passed away. He fought the good fight especially when he was only expected to live for only short amount of weeks after his diagnosis.
His baby sibling who we miscarried before him that had the same due date was also taken away from us the same date 2 years ago and they are now together with our loved ones who are looking down upon us. He's no longer in pain is our only consolation.
We miss him so much everything hurts. Thank for all your kindness and support the last few months."

I am reposting this update as GoFundMe removed over half of the update I had posted. It seems that maybe the hashtag at the end of the quoted status may have triggered profanity filters or something.

It breaks my heart to share this update with all of the amazing people who donated money and kind words to Sheryl, Jon, William and Thomas.

Firstly, I want to thank every single one of you for what you did. The money raised helped the family create some amazing memories that will last a lifetime.

Thomas may have only been here a short while, but there's one thing for sure, he has impacted more lives than most of us could ever hope to. To all those touched by the heartbreaking story of Thomas, I hope you have taken away as much from this as I have.

Again, I can't thank every single one of you enough for all of the selflessness shown in every donation, share and kind word posted. Thank you.

An update from the Blanksby family:

Hi all

We would like to thank everyone who has donated far and wide.
We cannot believe the donations and kind words we have received from close friends to complete strangers with a kind heart.
We have just returned from a memory making trip in the gold coast that saw Thomas ride on his first theme park ride, a looney tunes carousel, every minute we spend with him we cherish and we are trying to give him the best experience possible.

We are also using the funds for lots of other memory making experiences. One such idea is fingerprint jewellery and moulds for us to remember him and always keep him close.

Thank you again for sharing Thomas's story, we hope that his story can help people to connect with loved ones and hold them tighter and perhaps he will help us all understand that life is too short to worry about trivial things, focus on what you love follow your passion and love unconditionally.

We still hope for a miracle.

Thank you to our close friends who set this whole thing up we had no idea but are certainly grateful !

Love the Blanksby's

Supporters, we are absolutely overwhelmed by the response from all of the donations received on this campaign thus far. Jon, Sheryl, William & Thomas have been making some amazing memories. I will post some pictures and videos on here once I have their permission to do so.

To the countless people asking why they can't donate, we have reached out to Stripe. Unfortunately, for reasons I simply cannot explain, they have restricted the account and have told me "We're sorry that we won't be able to offer you service going forward, but our restrictions here are firm."
I am extremely disappointed in this, but am doing everything possible to remedy the situation ASAP.

Again, I cannot thank every single person enough for making these donations. The Blanksby family are eternally grateful for the amount of support that has been received from all around the world.

Thanks.
Dean

My great nephew was diagnosed with rhabdoid tumors at 1 yrs. old. This was Sept. of 2016, he had them in his stomach and liver. He has had chemo for the last 6 months. A scan 1 month ago showed no sign of any tumor in his stomach and the ones in the liver have shrunk. They just saw a surgeon and he will have his left liver lobe removed in 2 weeks. There can be those that will survive this,!!only by God's will. I will pray for your little guy. Love that ya'll are living life with him.

I would like to suggest something if that's ok. My heart goes out to the little baby with terminal cancer and his family. I'ts not fair and it's not right that children, especially babies should suffer with cancer or any other terminal disease. Now what I have in mind is this; Apricots - after the apricot is consumed you're left with a big nutshell with a seam running around it's circumference. Gently crack it open and you will find a seed which has vitamin B17 which can treat cancer, I even heard a scientist claim it cures. I inquired in health shops but they won't stock it because the seed contains traces of cyanide. Don't be alarmed because I tried the seeds myself and I am fine. A lot of people are not aware that the salt we all love to put in our food contains ferrocyanide (read the ingredients part). But this, like the apricot seed, is a fine balance, so this amount will not kill you when ingested. Please give it a try, under medical supervision of course. Chemo therapy may take away cancerous tumours alike, but it leaves big wholes where the growth was, which can cause death. Radiation causes cancer and a lot of are puzzled why they use this kind of treatment. There is remission but also the possibility of relapse, due to the radiation doing it's thing. Some of you may brush this information aside or even mock it, but there is an area in Pakistan where the people eat these nuts on a daily basis and there hasn't been a case of cancer for a long time. (Information courtesy of Dr Kent Hovind/Researched my Me) Thank you.

My prayers to your family.... Cancer has become the number one cause of death for children in the U.S. I can only tell you, doctors don't make money off healthy children. Seek your own answers, research..... Nothing is lost by doing so. I have done MUCH research, and have found baking soda (believe it or not) and cannabis oil.....cure cancer. I pray you find the answer you seek. I pray for your whole family, and for peace and strength.
