Making memories with liam

This is our story.... Liam is 2 and a half he has spent the majority of his short life in hospital. Liam was born at 34 weeks and needed help breathing so was taken to intensive care little did we know this was the least of our problems as liam started doing well with his breathing he wasnt tollerating feeding and no body could understand why after a few weeks the doctors was confident he was doing well and discharged us but i just felt like somthing wasnt right with him he was constantly sick wouldnt take any feed and allways seemed to cry liam then had a large bleed from his bottom he went back in to hospital and had many tests but still couldnt find out why he couldnt tolerate anything we sat in are local hospital for about 3 months trying different things undergoing different investigations then we finally got transferred to alderhey at this point liam was very poorly and very small he looked like a skeleton and had lost so much weight. He soon got rushed down to theartre to have a central line fitted so we could get him started on TPN this is an intravenous nutrition. Liam then had many more tests and investigations doctors was puzzled we was constantly trying to get him to feed but he just wouldnt tolerate it. We then got transferred to great ormand street where we met a specialist who gave liam a scope he was baffled with what he seen he even gave us a possible diagnosis and told us about treatment that could possibly help finally we thought there was light they took lots of bloods to test for the condition that they thought he may have a condition called tufting syndrome it took months to get the results back but they were negative we were back to where we started we was sent back to alderhey where we had to learn how to do TPN and all his medications he had to fight of many infections there was times where liam was so poorly we didnt think he was going to pull through but he bounced back everytime with a massive smile on his face. Doctors then started talking about discharge it was all getting very scary but exciting his brother and sister wanted nothing more after being in hospital for a long 18 months it was finally time to go home. Liam is still undiagnosed doctors think liam is the only person to have this condition at the moment theres nothing that the doctors can do to fix him he still cant eat or drink he is fully dependant on TPN and has to have all his medications IV he has bounced in and out of hospital ever since we have got home fighting bugs and infections but he is the most happiest boy in the world. I would love to be able to do all my garden up so him his brother and sister can make memories together i would also love to be able to do a crash course to make all our lives easier its so hard when hes in hospital and costs a fortune going from hospital to home to be between all the kids. Thankyou for reading are story and thankyou so much for anyhelp X
