Makenzee - Fighting for Health

Our friends are desperately seeking medical help for their endeering and spunky daughter. Unfortuantely the insurance will not cover the costs for the specialist that is needed, and the family must travel to Seattle to see him.
A little history; the doctors have finally diagnosed her with Gastroparesis. Kenzee has suffered from seizures, Craniosynostosis among other compliations throughout her young life. Kenzee is on a restricted diet, she isn't growing, she's loosing weight and is sick and misserable more frequent than not. She is currently missing school and not sleeping. To put it bluntly, she is exhausted, miserable and in pain, and her family wants nothing more than to help her feel good, or dare I say, normal.
After searching for a physician to help their daughter with her newest diagnosis, they have come across a specialist in Seattle that has been a page turner for her future. However, the trouble is that their insurance won't cover the visits. Each visit costs about $300 at the minimun for each visit and can go up based on the what the doctor does or needs, plus there are travel expenses since it's located in Seattle. These fees are more than most families can handle and money shouldn't stop them from aquiring the care and support that their daughter needs.
