I'm a vocalist and band leader. This past May, against all odds, I graduated with a degree in Music Business with my daughter on my hip (my proudest accomplishment outside of being blessed to have her).
It took me 10 years to earn my degree with balancing working, raising my daughter and working (through exhaustion at times) on my music. I would not change anything because it brought me to this point today.
I'm blessed to have a full band of 4 guys that have my back, such an incredible support system of friends and family.
Over the years I have had many opportunities in music. I've done countless background work in television and film. I've walked in countless fashion shows working towards making a name for myself and establishing a brand. I was blessed to be cast in a leading role in Eddie Money's musical "Two Tickets to Paradise" and even got to perform with him on stage. I've also had my experiences with the "dark side" of the industry and have met people who were more interested in what I could do outside of the studio. It's heartbreaking what up and coming Artists have to face. I've spent time meeting artists and encouraging them to stay focused on their dreams and to outwork everyone (I live by this everyday).
This past year I was so blessed to be chosen to record an original song that I co-wrote with fellow student Jessica Chertock. My bandmates and I recorded "Don't let me leave" under the guidance of living legend Jack Douglass. It's such an incredible song and I thank God for the experience.
I seize every opportunity that is in allignment with my goals and beliefs. This is why I need your help...
I have been blessed with the opportunity to record more of my original songs with a Multi Grammy Winning Producer and engineer. We're talking from Lady Gaga to Whitney Houston. I'm ready to put in the work but it takes more than effort. Many musicians, engineers and talent will be involved in the project which requires money.
For me, this is not a hobby, it's my God given gift and I plan on changing the world with it. I need help to make it happen. Please be an epic part of my journey.
