Make Nyna Comfortable

There is a young girl in our community that has Rett Syndrome.  This is a rare condition that affects primarily girls and will worsen with time. She is in desperate need of a hospital bed. The one she is renting is broken and does not come close to meeting her daily needs.

She requires total care for all activities of daily living.
She is fed through a G tube and requires suctioning as a result of not being able to swallow. She requires optimal positioning while in bed and in her wheel chair. Nyna needs to be at an incline to allow for proper breathing and clearing of secretions. She also has Scoliosis.

I feel as a community that we should be able to come together to improve Nyna's quality of daily living.
Our goal is to raise $6000.00 to help cover the cost of a new hospital bed. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share this request with all your friends.

Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological and developmental disorder that affects the way the brain develops, causing a progressive inability to use muscles for eye and body movements and speech. It occurs almost exclusively in girls.
