Major Brent Taylor Family Fund
Major Brent Taylor of North Ogden Utah was killed in Afghanistan this morning. He leaves behind his amazing wife, Jennie, and seven beautiful children ranging in age from one year to 13 years old. Please help us provide a cushion of financial stability for the family of a true Patriot, public servant, loving father and husband, and dear friend.
This campaign was started by high school friends of Brent from AZ who consider him to be one of our most treasured friends. Brent was known to my family personally as "Captain Courageous." Shortly after high school, he would come to our house often to play ROOK. One time when trying to take the bid, Brent said "I'm going to do something courageous here" as he bid a higher amount than he felt comfortable. From then on my parents affectionately called him Captain Courageous. Well, Brent indeed was Captain Courageous. He served his high school on student council as the student body president, his God as a missionary for two years in Brazil, his wife and Seven children, his community as a public servant and mayor of his city, and his country. He didnt serve his country once or twice, he served 4 times. This Captain Courageous became Major Courageous and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. If anything, we do not want his family to sacrifice anything further so we hope this GoFundMe and any others for the family can provide security for them.
Brent we love you.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to this campaign of ours. We are grateful for your help and also happy to mention the other campaigns by friends in UT also raised very substantial amounts of over $550,000 for this family. Raising 7 children is not cheap and it is my opinion that their family has sacrificed all they should ever have to give for our country. I hope Jennie never has to work again unless she wants to. The funeral services were amazing and the community involvement inspiring as they rallied to show their love for this great man.
