"The Holy Mackerel Project"
What's it like to fullfill a dream? Well, I'm not really sure yet... but with some luck and tons of perserverance, and a little bit of help from my friends and supporters I am hoping to find out!
I'm Bobby Gordash, creator and founder of "Holy Mackerel Small Batch Beers." My dream began when I started homebrewing over 20 years ago and I won a National Home brewing contest sponsored by Samuel Adams. This inspired me to start my own craft beer brand called "Holy Mackerel." Super exciting! Over the years the brand has become well known within the South Florida craft beer scene and beyond.
Trouble is, all this time I've been a brewer without a home... so I've been using a facility in South Carolina to re-create my recipes. Don't get me wrong... The beers that come out of this facility taste amazing and just the way I had hoped and dreamed they would. However, my dream has always been for Holy Mackerel to have a place to call home! A place we can brew and explore. A tavern where we can share with our friends our crazy and outlandish concoctions!
So, here I am asking for a little help from my friends as well as craft beer fans and supporters alike to assist in bringing this really neat project to life... a project that I've been hoping and dreaming to make a reality for a long-long time... "THE HOLY MACKEREL PROJECT"
What will your donations be used for? Well, since I have already signed a lease and budgeted for the interior construction project the donations will go towards high quality brewing equipment, and necessary plumbing related to the brewery.
