Following devastation caused by a catastrophic blaze which completely destroyed their Clubhouse on 19 December 2018, Machrihanish Golf Club are asking for your help.

All at Machrihanish Golf Club express their extreme gratitude for the overwhelming help, support and well wishes received to date from both friends and club members alike.

Although the club are liaising closely with their insurance company in regard to the rebuilding of the Clubhouse itself, the insurance will not fully cover everything lost or required to keep the club operating to its full capacity in the interim period.

Machrihanish Golf Club boasts one of the finest links courses in Great Britain which attracts players from across the globe, all the way to the Kintyre peninsula, purely to experience a game on their renowned course. The Club itself is a community organisation, managed by a committee of volunteers who are passionately committed to sustaining the clubs good reputation and are now working tirelessly to ensure they can restore the clubs provisions to the best possible standard as soon as they possibly can.

Given the unfortunate circumstances the fire has inflicted, the club are accepting to any contributions towards softening the clubs current hardship with any financial donations being greatly received.  All funds raised will be entirely utilised in providing a new clubhouse and any of the necessary equipment required to do so.

The Club captain and committee wish to highlight that the course itself remains open to all golfers and would like to thank everyone once again for all support and contributions received and finally ask that you please share this page to help them to raise as much of the revenue required as possible in supporting them through the challenging journey of restoring Machrihanish Golf Clubhouse to its full operation and reputable high standard.
