Rallying against our mom's cancer!

Our names are Matthew Jacobson, Taylor Jacobson, Laura Edwards, and Colin Jacobson. We're siblings, and we're asking for your help. 

Last year, our mom, Mace Jacobson, was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. She underwent surgery to have the tumor removed and went through debilitating chemotherapy, but in the end, she beat it! 

Unfortunately, the cancer is back. It's spread beyond her colon, though, and it's aggressive. 

The doctors say that with chemo, we can extend her life. She started her first round of chemotherapy last week. So now every moment is precious, and we want to check an item off her bucket list: go on an epic family adventure. 

Unfortunately, the cost of treatment along with the regular, run-of-the-mill bills every family incurs, can be problematic. 

We're asking for your help to raise $10,000, which will help tackle the hospital bills and bring the family together for one great trip -- even if it's just to Disneyland. 

Our mom's greatest pleasure in life is being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, so we want to make this happen for her. We want to bring everyone together for a great family trip -- something we can remember for the rest of our lives. 

We have to be honest, though. The oncologist has suggested we do this sooner, rather than later, while Mom still has the energy. And with her treatments starting, we're not sure how much longer we have before she loses the ability to get up and go. 

Please consider donating any amount you can. Our mom has given us such wonderful lives, and we want to be able to return the favor. We could never, not in this lifetime or a thousand more, pay her back for the love and lessons she's given us. But we can at least try with the little time we have left.
