Help repair Macbook

Art has always been a driving force in my life, for damn near my whole existence. It was the one thing that brought me out of my shell as a kid with anxiety (something that I’m dealing with to this day). Coming from a family with a history of drug and alcohol abuse, art is what has kept me on the straight and narrow path in life.

Graphic design has been a career of mine for 10 years. I’ve been able to support myself off of the work that I do with very little help from the outside world. With that being said, I have found myself in a situation where I truly do need some help from the people around me to continue on my path.

Living in Portland, we all know how bad the weather can be around this time of year and unfortunately I have found myself in a situation where the bad weather has damaged my laptop to the point where the repairs on it will cost $1240. I was able to transfer all of my files onto an external hard drive, but this couldn’t have happened at a worse time as I have a multitude of projects and have just lost the tool I use to complete them.

I’m new to Gofundme, I was referred to it by a few of my friends. At first, I was uncomfortable with the concept, I felt like I was asking a lot from people, especially around this time of the year. But the more I thought about it, I realized I could offer my graphic design services in return as a token of my appreciation.

Anything given is a blessing and very much appreciated. To be honest, I appreciate you for taking out the time to hear me out.
