MacBook Pro for young app developer

So I'm a freshman in the middle of my second semester and studying electrical engineering. I've been exposed to coding and writing programs throughout the school year and realized this is something I really enjoyed. I found out that there's is so much opportunity and creativity for writing code. You can develop an app, websites, and even program a robot, which is what I did last semester. You can do anything with code and I see it as a way to create new tech. I want to make an app for Apple products like the iphone, ipad, and more, but I recently found out that you can only make apps for iOS devices on an apple computer. My goal is to purchase a MacBook Pro, after using my friends and seeing how it compiles code, I figured this would be more appropriate. Every penny raised is going towards this Mac because it's the only thing holding me back from making this app. My goal is to purchase it before the summer and hopefully get it in May or early June. This would mean a lot to me as college expensive have been really hard to cover. All the money I've saved for the Mac went to getting textbooks for the semester. I'm also not working and haven't been able to find a job yet. I would be extremely grateful for this. It's the only thing that's been on my mind. I wanted to be an engineer because they're the guys having all the fun building robots, rockets, computers, and planes. I want to innovate and create new things and code lets me do just that so having this Mac would just be so exciting. A day wouldn't go by when I'm not coding. I'm already in the library doing just that. Thank you to anyone and everyone that helps me with this. Furthering my education is my ultimate goal and this Mac would help me with just that.
