Hello there!
It's Kathy from Long Table Cafe in rural New South Wales here, and I would like to share my dream with you. I have always loved growing my own organic fruit and veggies on the farm, and cooking for friends and family. We work with the land not against it, so our livestock and produce is the most natural and pure you can find. We are proud that our food is made from love, not chemicals. When we opened our very own farm to table restaurant 6 years ago it was a roaring success, and we would love to expand upon it.
Our dream is to restore these train carriages from the early 1930's into a Bed and Breakfast, so people can come to visit from out of town (or even locals looking for a weekend getaway) and they can experience staying on a farm, going on a tour of our property and being served the freshest produce possible. Seeing where your food comes from and how it can be naturally cultivated is so important and we would be honored for you to come and experience Long Table Cafe.
If you believe in our dream like we do, you can help us make it happen! We need $20,000 to restore these pieces of history into tasteful Bed and Breakfast cabins, and as a donor you could come and enjoy it yourself!
Donors will receive a scrumptious three course meal made fresh from our farm, including our famous Long Table Platter which features our homemade cheese, meats, produce and preserves, and hearty mains followed by generous desserts.
Extra special donors will receive accomodation in our newly renovated gems- lucky you!
