3. Platform: As a proud ambassador of Montserrat and an enthusiastic community volunteer it was important for me to be an advocate of culture. In representing my platform of culture I intend to connect with all Montserratians, at home and abroad. Most importantly I want to have an impact on the youth as they are the future of our Montserratian heritage. I would like to influence and inspire the youths and instil in them an understanding of Montserrat and what being Montserratian means. I hope that through my platform I will be able to build connoisseurs and promoters of Montserratian culture, whether through the history, the food, the Arts, the Music or the traditions.
4. Education: Pursuing a Degree in Management with a Major in Tourism and Hospitality Management at the UWI Open Campus
Associates Degree in General Studies at the Montserrat Community College- 2013
5. Profession: Customer Service Representative, FLOW
6. Why do you want to represent Montserrat in these pageants?
I am passionate about Montserrat and our culture, therefore I find it important to involve myself in the community and culture related activities. My volunteerism includes the St. John’s Action Club, the Rotaract Club and the Montserrat Female Football. Through these activities I have developed a sense of pride and patriotism in my Montserratian heritage. I have also been allowed the privilege to be a mentor and an advocate for culture. I am focused on truly representing our island in a positive and creative light and to show young Montserratians that they are able to accomplish anything with determination. Through my participation and ultimately winning these regional pageants, I will be displaying the true beauty and talent of Montserratians and it will allow me to inspire others to fearlessly pursue their aspirations.
7. What do you consider to be your biggest accomplishment?
Graduating from the Montserrat Secondary School and becoming Miss Montserrat are my biggest accomplishments thus far. Both taught me that with hard work and perseverance I am able to accomplish anything. The journey in becoming Miss Montserrat, has allowed me to develop and grow as a person.
8. What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
As a lover of Montserratian Culture, I have crafted my skills in becoming a skilled and experienced Masquerade dancer. I have started stilt walking/Moko Jumbie work which I am proud to be a part of as it is an integral part of Montserrat’s culture.
9. Aside from aspiring to win Miss Jaycees International Queen and Miss Carival, what’s your biggest goal?
Becoming a Professional Chef and successfully implementing my cultural initiative in Montserrat.
10. How exactly do my donations support you competing for Miss Jaycees International Queen and Miss Carival?

11. How soon do I need these funds?
I will need the funds as soon as possible. There are many mandatory appearances and events that I will have to attend, as well as the creation of outfits and other expenses that need to be covered in advance. Your assistance will guarantee that our beautiful island is represented in a professional and elegant manner. The first pageant will take place in early July, and I have commenced my training and development, therefore your help will be greatly appreciated in ensuring that I am successfully prepared to represent Montserrat.
