Michael's Medical Fund

On February 2nd following an MRI, Michael Mobley was diagnoised with a brain tumor. Michael is 8 years old and is in the second grade at Zellers elementary school in Strongsville, OH. 

Michael will have continued testing at Cleveland Clinic which will include a follow up MRI of the spine/brain and a biopsy of the tumor on February 11th. This biopsy will determine if the tumor is malignant or benign. We are praying for a benign diagnosis but unfortunately,  Michael's medical concerns do not end there. Due to the location of the tumor, it is unable to be removed but it is causing increased pressure on the brain. Therefore, a course of action must be taken to decrease the pressure. The current plan is for a shunt to be placed following the biopsy.

We are asking for continued prayer that the tumor is benign, is not growing and that it has not spread. We are also requesting donations for the Mobley family for the medical costs associated with all of the testing as well as the treatment that will be required. Michael's father will also be spending a lot of time at the hospital with Michael and Ashley and will therefore be missing time at work. We are extremely grateful for all prayers and contributions!
