I am Dr. Cullian W. Hill, Pastor of Greater Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, MI. I am asking for your help in providing aid and relief to flood victims in Lumberton, NC.

Recently, Hurricane Matthew caused massive flood damage to the area where I am from, and where alot of my family still reside. Many families have lost everything they had. There are cases where ten people are living in a one-bedroom apartment with no idea what the next move will be. Federal aid is slowly making its way to the area, but even once it arrives, the needs of the people may not be fully met. This is a CALL TO ACTION.

Please contribute to this fund to help meet the basic needs of people in Lumberton, NC. The media focused on the damage in Florida, but many do not realize that the damage of the hurricane extends, much further up the coast... all the way to my home state, North Carolina.

You can find comfort in knowing that your contribution will be used to help families DIRECTLY. I will be flying next week from Detroit, MI to Lumberton, NC to stay for a few days. I will personally make sure your donation is used to help those in need.

Purchases will be made for food, water clothing, toiletries and other basic neccessities.

This is no empty request either, I am using my personal money to give assistance also. It is so important that we never forget about people in need, where we come from, and those that helped to shape our lives... especially when we are doing well ourselves. My own family members have been affected by the hurrican also.

My endeavor is to help my the city and community that helped me along the way... all the way from the Wire Grass Road.

Please help! Any contribution will go a long way. I appreciate your thoughts and continue to ask for your prayers. Nothing is impossible with God on our side!!!

Thanking you in advance,

Dr. Hill
