Helping Artisans in the Philippines

We are Lumago Designs; a Social Enterprise based in the Philippines, a collaborative effort to empower local impoverished women to design and handcraft products for our socially responsible customers around the world who share our eco friendly values. We upcycle donated and discarded materials, crafting unique jewellery and accessories born from the minds of our crafters. Any profits we make at Lumago are reinvested back into the community, whether it be for food, medicine, training or disaster relief funds - the crafters are in control.
We desperately need your help:
Lumago has provided a sustainable income for our women living in the community surrounding the dumpsite for almost 9 years now. But to expand our project to a wider audience and to gain the new customers we need to succeed we have to work on the development of our brand, online presence and the skills of our artisans to become masters of their own destinies.
The money we raise will go towards computer skills training and design workshops for our artisans, a photoshoot for our new Spring line along with updating our website so we can start reaching more customers further afield.
